Colonial Williamsburg

Williamsburg was the capital of Virginia from 1699 to 1780 and was instrumental in the foundation of our nation. The site was once used for conferences by world leaders and heads of state, including U.S. presidents. Colonial Williamsburg is adding content to its “Explore From Home” page, including guides for teachers, quizzes and puzzles for students, an interactive timeline, pages for exploring art collections, and printable coloring sheets from The Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, as well as libraries, archives, and other cultural institutions around the world.
