Congresswoman Elaine Luria Announces Peninsula Town Hall on May 28 in Yorktown
WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Elaine Luria (VA-02) today announced details about her upcoming town hall meeting in Yorktown.
The May 28 town hall – which follows similar events in Virginia Beach and on the Eastern Shore – will allow Congresswoman Luria to hear ideas, suggestions, and questions from residents on the Peninsula.
Residents will have the chance to discuss how Congresswoman Luria can best represent their interests in the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as inquire about specific pieces of legislation.
“Following the recent opening of our office in Yorktown, I’m thrilled to hear directly from residents of the Peninsula,” Congresswoman Luria said. “I’m honored to have the chance to help residents, answer questions, and discuss what’s happening in Washington. I eagerly await a productive dialogue.”
Seating will be granted to constituents on a first-come, first-serve basis, and capacity is limited to 250.

Congresswoman Elaine Luria represents Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District. She serves on the House Armed Services Committee, where she is the Vice Chair of the Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee, and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, where she serves as Chair of the Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs Subcommittee.
