Congresswoman Elaine Luria Speaks About COVID-19 Pandemic on Local Radio Shows

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Elaine Luria made appearances on multiple local radio stations to inform constituents about the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Congresswoman appeared on 2WD 101.3’s Devin Tucker in the Morning, Z104’s Z Morning Zoo, 94.9 The Point’s morning show, and on 95.7 R&B FM’s Steve Harvey Show with local commentary by Dale Murray. She gave interviews covering the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, measures to prevent its spread, and the epidemic’s impact on our community.

“As COVID-19 spreads throughout Coastal Virginia, we all have a personal responsibility to stop and slow the spread of the virus,” said Congresswoman Luria. “It is so important that we all take precautions such as avoiding crowds, social distancing, and frequent handwashing to keep ourselves and others safe and healthy. I thank all the hosts from these radio stations for having me on their shows to communicate critical, lifesaving information to their audiences.”
