Today, Congresswoman Elaine Luria voted for the American Rescue Plan, a $1.9 trillion economic recovery package that includes: $1,400 stimulus checks to individuals; an expanded Child Tax Credit of $3,000 per child and $3,600 for children under six; $15 billion in grant funding for small businesses; $15 billion for the Department of Veterans Affairs; $796 million to help Virginia schools reopen safely, and $6.4 billion to enhance the Commonwealth’s vaccine distribution and testing.
