Today, Congresswoman Elaine Luria voted to end discrimination against pregnant workers. The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (H.R. 1065) would ensure that pregnant workers are not forced out of their jobs unnecessarily or denied reasonable accommodations that would allow them to continue working while maintaining healthy pregnancies.

This week, Congresswoman Elaine Luria voted to protect servicemembers from nefarious debt collection practices. The Comprehensive Debt Collection Improvement Act (H.R. 2547) prohibits debts collectors from threatening a servicemember with reducing their rank, revoking their security clearance, or prosecuting them under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
