NORFOLK – On Saturday, February 22nd, Congresswoman Elaine Luria will speak at the Oakmont Civic Association Black History Month Brunch. This event will honor Herman E. Valentine, Sr., a local business leader, for his contributions to the community. This event is open to the press.

On Sunday, February 23rd, Congresswoman Elaine Luria will give remarks at the Black History Month Veterans Pinning Ceremony in York County. This ceremony will recognize the service of local Vietnam War era veterans. This event is open to the press.
